Can't wait to see them, George. This spike had two other buds that were CHEWED OFF by something. It must have been hungry because it ate the other spike - the whole thing!

Is that a hint of lavender suffusion at the tip of the dorsal Royal? Great picture!

Good eye! It's spotting that developed on the outside of the sepal, it's a dark clear spot when looked at from behind. I was thinking it was due to the high light it got while the buds developed. So, is that suffusion?

Gin, No, I might use it though!
