I am seeing this too with a few of my orchids. . .I was sort of thinking that they weren't happy in their pot and wanted to tuck up higher on the tree to hang, properly.

I don't have a good way to accomodate them though. . .so haven't done anything about mine.

Be interested to hear what the others think!
