Welcome to the board! I'm sure you'll learn lots just browsing around on here and if you have any questions feel free to ask! Everyone here is really friendly and helpful. Thats so cool that you are building a greenhouse. I'm very jealous!

I'm not really sure about the rubbing alcohol. I know it's often used to kill various pests on orchids. I supposed it wouldn't hurt to use a little on a paper towel or cotton ball and wipe down the leaves since you have new arrivals. If you don't have a problem I wouldn't keep doing it though. I would think that it may be too drying on the leaves if you do it on a regular basis. If you just want to shine up the leaves use lemon juice. It works great! Maybe someone with more experience will chime in.
