When mine first bloomed, I had it in a garden

window on the east side of my home. Right now, it is under some fluorescents in a growing cart. As far as medium is concerned, it is in a coconut husk mix, which it was in when I bought it. I think that the reason it is in that and why it likes it, is because it is kept on the moist side, as I know a few bulbophyllums like.
