Do you think? My experience has been buds start to open at end of night/early day prior to my getting up at, shall we say, 8 AM? (That's a retired-folks joke!)

Congrats and keep taking pictures. I have been doing that during the past few weeks with developing buds and find that it's pretty neat to review them in sequence as they swell and open.

it's still thinking about it...
I keep saying "tomorrow will be the day," but this time it may really be true.

it opened. but now I'm not 100% convinced it's the right plant...
the attachments are my photos, the link below is the vendor's photo. slightly different!
of course, it's still a bit greenish so some of that will change to more yellowish over the next few days, but it's not a peachy pink like I expected. anyway...

Very pretty but I don't think that's the right plant, either. Unless it's something genetic that caused the colors to be different. Hopefully, somebody that knows way more than I do will come up with an answer for you.
Thanks for sharing

I'm not picky, but I wouldn't have doubted that's what it was if you hadn't questioned it. I google imaged it and there are many different looking variations...

Some Catts. go through quite a color change from time they open untill they drop off, this may be one of them.
