Hi OB,

I'm wondering if someone can recognize the ID for this Cattleya.

Thanks.

It looks quite a bit like Cattleya canhamiana semi-alba.

Take a look at photos of Lc. Stonehouse. The large floppy petals and narrow dorsal and large gorgeous lip remind me of that one.

All this demonstrates that we really can't identify hybrids without name tags. The same plant may have surprisingly different flowers under differing conditions of light, temperature, humidity and watering skill.

Thanks Roberta.

It looks more closer like Lc. Stonehouse as well. But I am glad its really nice find (found locally on facebook marketplace last October, very cheap this size of the plant as the person who sold to me is Bromeliad collector, not much in Orchids so he sold some of his Orchids given to him to me), putting lots of roots and flowers are really big.
Looking forward to get more and more blooms

Thanks.

Thanks ES. I agree with you, I just want at least some idea to look for its care info, but I have it in outside since I got it last October and just up pot it, so I think this should do good in my environment outside.

Thanks.

Lc Stonehouse is a super-vigorous plant, extremely rewarding. If that is what is, congratulations! Easy outdoor grower where you live.
