Introducing myself: 'Hallo' from The Netherlands Female
Default Introducing myself: 'Hallo' from The Netherlands

Hi guys, I'm new here. I read some topics here and I liked it that much, I'd like to join you.

I got my first orchid a 3 years ago: a Bulbophyllum falcatum. When I went to an Orchid 'farm' I fell in love with my second one: Brassia maculata. About a month ago I got my third one as a present: Phaleanopsis (pink/purple one). Last weekend I went to someone who wanted to end his hobby. I went there for 3 orchids and I got back with 17... A lot of them are tiny and some are dying, but he thought that trying wouldn't hurt.

I also got me two fernroots. Chopped in New Zealand, so they are responsibly chopped! I want to mount them on the fernroot. I'm still looking for some moss, but when I have everything, there will be no stopping me!

Besides orchids, I have 4 degu girls, 1 cat, love to ride horses (dream is to get my own!), love photografing and looking stuff up.

I hope to learn a lot from you guys and I hope that - with time - I can also contribute some knowledge.
