Default weird question..but honest

I know this may sound very newbie but....has anyone ever tried the unthinkable and sown seed from a deli store vanilla pod....and did anyone get results

I doubt whole heartedly that you would be successful considering the process the pod goes through before it gets to market.

I agree with the above that due to the processing, and most likely the roasting, that any seed would probably be dead. On another note, welcome to the Board! It is great to see another Canadian here!
