Question S/H for Odontonia?

I have an Odontonia (Odontoglossom x Miltonia) Susan Bogdanow 'Ahlsmeer' that I have difficulty growing in bark. I tend to keep it too wet.
After looking at S/H Culture, I am wondering it the poor plant might be happier in S/H.
Does anybody have an Odontonia in S/H?
Your input would be greately appreciated.

I find that all onciidinae intergenerics do really well in semi-hydroculture.

Hi! I have a question. I am trying to grow one of these too. I just got it, so I am trying to NOT kill it haha. Could you tell me in which ways your plant is not doing well? Is it only that the plant isn't blooming? or is there root rot as well?

Thanks

Well , I first kept it too dry and warm and then I kept it too wet and now I am dealing with root rot because of it.
I am hoping that S/H will give me better control over the health of the root system.

It will, but don't count on it being a savior for a plant already in bad shape.
