Really Stupid when should I water?

Ok, have things in S/H with clear containers can see LECA no water below the holes is this time to flush? Real beginer but I keep trying, I told husband if I keep half the plants I started with I consider that a sucess because I cannot get any more for a while live in Northern Wisconsin.

The reservoir should never be allowed to dry out, and the pot should be flushed at every watering.

Make a dilute fertilizer solution (just how dilute is determined by how often you water), fill the pot rapidly to the top, and let it drain down to the holes. In one step you will have flushed, fed, watered and refreshed the reservoir.
