OK here are my pics as promised. I must have deleted the before pictures thinking they were just too pathetic looking. The Phal. has spent a lot of time growing new roots. It had one viable root and no new growth when I put it in S/H. Once it had a somewhat reasonable root system it started growing new leaves, two so far. I hope to see it bloom next spring. The Slc. isn't looking so perky. It is alive though and that's much better than it looked a couple of months ago. You can see the new growths if you look hard. They are really small. I included pictures of the pots as well. You can see the two holes 1" up from the bottom of the pot. You can also see the reservoir filled with fert water, and you can also see dampness up higher on the pot where the PrimeAgra is pressed against the side. Hope this is of some help.

I have a phal that i moved a few months ago (in spike now!) a vuyl that's making crazy roots everywhere but no spike yet, a few sad catts that are struggling along and i'm keeping my fingers crossed for (they're putting out new bulbs though so i assume they must like something there!) oh and a couple of african violets that are also going root-crazy in S/H. I've also recently moved a Twinkle and a couple of mini phals i just bought into s/h. That was about a week ago though, so can't comment yet.
