S/H FORUM CLOSING
Just wanted everyone to know that we will be shutting down " The Official Semi-Hydroponics Forum" this coming weekend.
Between forum software updates, Tapatalk updates, and quashing spam postings and spammers attempting to join, the time consumption is too great for the limited amount of activity there. Besides, between my website, my participation here and at other forums, it's all pretty well covered.
Now if we can only keep folks from spreading incorrect info....

I found it very useful when first learning about S/H. Is there a way to close it to new activity, but still make the information available?

As of Wednesday, September 6, 2017, we have disabled all registration, and posts are read-only.
We will leave the information here, at least for now, so folks can use the info as a learning tool.
Ray Barkalow
Orchid Iconoclast Thank you! There is information on Ray's forum that isn't duplicated here on the Orchid Board.

Thanks for the kind thoughts, but it's just a matter of priorities...
I am glad I found a way to keep the posts, though.

Roy
Sorry to see the forum go Ray. We here in Australia (Queensland) who are S/H growers of Orchids will miss your valuable input.

Thanks Roy, but that happened almost two years ago.
No problem though, as the entire free information website is still active and growing.

G'day Ray from Oz. I am following your literature as close as possible but my top clay pebbles (Canna Aqua) and the top roots of the Cats.are going black. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Roy
