I am thinking to repot all of my phals in clay balls. The only brand I can find in my area is Canna (Control humidity level for plants - CANNA Aqua Clay Pebbles | CANNA Gardening USA). Does anyone had experience with it?

Is there anything I should pay attention to during the transplant?
Also does the clay balls provide a cooler temperature to the root system?

No experience with that brand. LECA (Light Expanded Clay Aggregate or clay balls) should be available from hydroponics vendors, that's where many of us get ours.

Yes, evaporative cooling does occur. If your ambient temperature is >70°F/21°C, shouldn't be a problem. Use a heat mat if cooler.

Test the reservoir water level for wicking.

Best to move Phals into S/H when it's warm, or use a heat mat. Phals love S/H.
