Catt out grew Semi-Hydro

So I am wondering what I did wrong that the plant preferred to send out roots into the air than to keep growing in the pot. Check this Catt. mossiae "Pauwela Passion" x self.

It has not bloomed for me (Uhmm, at least I don't think it has).
So my question to you is, would you repot this in s/h, divide it and pot the divisions in s/h, or pot them in different media? Or do nothing at all?

Also I have removed half the roots you see because they were yellow-brown.

Many of the orchids we grow are epiphytes; we simply grow them in pots. That being said, many orchids will throw roots where conditions are optimal; cattleyas like good humidity and most like their roots to dry down after watering; your picture is a great example of this; the roots occur in the zone immediately above the media, capturing the localized humidity and making use of it. In the s/h is likely too moist, the area at the edges too dry. I don't grow s/h, hopefully the others will chime in; if it were me, I'd switch the plant to a mount and be done with it. Cattleyas grow sideways. Their eyes don't see, and they don't have brains, so they don't know they need to stay in the pot. They eventually grow out of anything into which we put them.

Lack of bloom on a plant growing this well is usually due to lack of light.

I'm thinking of looking for rectangular shaped pots for this same situation. Of course, as you mention, divide and conquer is always another option.

This would be a perfect plant to try Bil's rectangular shallow pans with just a layer of course bark over the roots. Look for his post.

The newer growth is very healthy, those aerial roots will rot if potted into the SH directly. Plant misbehavior can be very frustrating.
