Spikes stopped growing...
Default Spikes stopped growing...

So I've had phal. Heiroglyphica for a few months now and it was in spike when I purchased it. The three flower spikes that it was producing seemed to have just quit growing. The plant is healthy and is producing a new leaf and new roots. I figured maybe a change of conditions caused this but if conditions are good for it to grow, why won't the spikes? They are firm and green and I don't know if I should cut them or not. Will they start growing again?

the spikes on mine stopped growing when I repotted it a few months ago, they're still green.

watered it yesterday and saw a new spike starting.

if they're green leave them and they should resume growing eventually.

Leave them. Eventually it should flower off those green spikes again.

Mine also has a spike that stopped growing when I got it. Good to see that this species does it fairly often!

I also think this post should be moved to another location because I don't see any s/h!
