Default Sphagnum and bag results- Question of timing and appropriateness to transplant to S/H

Sharing a phone with a 5 year old so that he can watch instructional videos on how to beat Mario is not ideal, hence the delay in editing this post.

I placed my two paphs in a bag with moist sphagnum two weeks ago. As a result, there are several growths that I'm hoping are developing roots.

My question is despite its root condition, would it be able to grow its new roots into a semi-hydro environment and thrive if the rest of the environment is also suitable, i.e. light, heat, humidity, water quality, and fertilizer.

I ask because I did read on FirstRays that "The plant, and especially it’s roots are healthy and strong to begin with" under the Transplant and Adaptation tab, but this plant's roots are not what I would consider healthy and strong.

I also know that S/H is not a miracle solution to root issues, but if I continue to let the roots grow, could this be a candidate and if so, how long should I allow the roots to get before making the transplant?
Thoughts?
