As long as there is a disclaimer that clearly states that these are examples of individuals' experiences, and are not guarantees that they'll do the same for "you", because of other cultural differences and differences in individual plants, then it's passable.
Keep in mind my perspective on this: You wouldn't believe how frequently I get emails because folks read stuff on forums and assume it's "gospel", they have problems, and then blame it on semi-hydroponics (and sometime, me!). That's why I put so much free info on my website - if folks will actually read first, it will dispel the myths.
