Default Repotting for insect problems

I found red aphids on some plants that came from eBay in S/H. I'm not sure where the aphids came from because of the timing, but really my question is about repotting. There were a fair amount on the buds but I didn't see much other activity. I gave them all a good spray down with water and then Safer's but if I need to repot then I need to order some PrimeAgra. Thoughts?

I don't re-pot orchids unless they arrive in bark or moss, then I leave them forever undisturbed (dropping their basket pot or plastic Vanda basket into a larger one when the time comes). I grow in lava rock or the expanded clay pellets. I submerge the pot overnight in water (you can add a little soap) and then use my preferred method for what is above the 'soil' line. Last fall, I received a non-orchid from a vendor with spidermite, aphids and mealies. I sprayed the leaves of all the plants that were infected by this plant with olive oil and left that sit overnight, the pots submerged in water. The next day, I washed off the olive oil. The problem was solved.

I didn't think about soaking the pots overnight. I sprayed all of the plants that were from the shipment in an abundance of caution but I can soak them tonight in water.

Seems that my pest population is reduced with S/H culture. Don't seem to get mealies in the root zone. Mostly whatever pest is present they tend to stay up where they can be seen and treated.
