Default New plants arrived in S/H culture

I just got 6 plants from The Orchid House, which uses S/H culture. The plants are really healthy looking but it's always been my policy to repot every plant upon arrival so I can check the roots, looks for bugs, etc. I've never made an exception.

In this case, I don't know what to do. These plants are well established in the culture. The pots are fairly clean with some algae but I can't really see the roots. I'm conflicted. I also don't have Prime Agra on hand so I would have to place an order. What is the usual practice for you when you order a plant established in culture?

I plan on keeping the plants in S/H because I'm interested in converting my onc alliance plants to this next year when I repot- so I do want to maintain them rather than repot into bark. But I could do that too.

Had never heard of The Orchid House before, (or orchids being shipped in SH) great website, thanks for the tip!

Normally, of course, people check first thing to see if the bark medium is breaking down in a new arrival, but since that's not the case with SH, I'd suggest (assuming the plant looks healthy) you just leave the "well established" orchid alone until it outgrows its container. My Oncs love SH, so assume yours will too when it's time to repot them.

They look extremely healthy. I just can't see deep into the root system like I like to...but when I gently wiggle the plant it's like a brick which says to me they are happily entwined with the LECA. So I flushed the pots and will hope for the best.

The vendor is also on eBay- tvoytilla.

And they were packed beautifully- didn't lose a single pebble.
