Forgive me but i'm trying to track down the quality of our NYC drinking water. Haven't found too much information online. According to the latest report
http://www.nyc.gov/html/dep/pdf/wsstate13.pdf it lists the Total Dissolved Solids (mg/L) as 49 which equals roughly 49 ppm. Is this in theory more than acceptable for SH? I don't have a TDS meter (yet). What are your thoughts , is it better implementing a counter top RO system to get the ppm even lower? Or are we at a point of diminishing returns? Thank You
