Default Oncidium in semi-hydro

Hi , Ive been growing orchids for many years now and last year i moved my collection to semi-hydro thanks to my fd Johnny who thaught me how to do it.
I live in Lebanon and its spring time now.

My orchids are on spike but this is the first oncidium that bloomed and its called "jungle monarch" It has a scent of honey and seems to be enjoying the semi-hydro

Congratulations. I've got this one as well and also in S/H. In fact, it's the one that's doing best in S/H. I hope I'll get flowers this year.

Hey, welcome! I'm part Lebanese, my grandmother was full-blooded.

I've been moving towards s/h myself, but kind of slowly. I mix up my own brews of planting material but am using more and more expanded rock, rock wool, and the like. I seem to be having pretty good results.

Beautiful, looks like it's very happy in SH. I have quite a few of my 'chids in SH and I find that oncidiums do very well, even a tolumnia
