Ok I am going to take the plunge and order supplies so that I can move my orchids to S/H as they are showing new roots. Can someone help me with the Dyna-Gro K-L-N Root Growth Stimulant, how much will 8 ounces do?
As only a few drops per gallon are needed, 8oz should last for some time. How many gallons of water do you use when watering? How many 'chids do you have?
Most importantly (just for curiosity's sake ), what types of 'chids are you growing?

Donald, you shouldn't be using more than 2 drops per gallon water unless you are doing transplanting/repotting where new roots are being encouraged. Trust me 2 drops will be enough if you have patience. It really makes a difference in root production.
That depends, of course, on how much medium you'll be soaking in how much water.
I add about a teaspoon per gallon to my presoak, and typically use 5 gallons of water to soak a 45-liter bag of medium. As 8 ounces is 48 teaspoons, a bottle goes a long way.
Hi All, I was searching for some information about the Dyna Grow K-L-N. I can infer from the posts that this stuff works really really well. Am I correct in that assumption??...I have some chids that need a little help in the root department.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
