Question regarding pots

Hello everyone.

I have been thinking about changing my orchids to s/h. I just purchased a starter kit from Ray's. Anyway, my question is the following: How tall are the pots? Do they fit easily inside decorative pots? I have most of my orchids in my office (I'm on the 17th floor of my building facing the east side and I have a HUGE window so I get TONS of light), so I have to keep them in some sort of decorative container.

If one converts to s/h, can you place the plastic pot inside a decorative one? or does that defeat the purpose of s/h altogether? Thanks for your input.

Hi! Make sure you read Ray's forum, as I am sure you have. Just remember timing is very important...as I learned the hard way.....must have new root growth! Anyways....there is another website called SwampStick ™. This website sells decorative containers just for s/h pots! I haven't purchased any quite yet.....but I have been tempted! Let us know if you get some!

Thank you kindly. Actually, all of my orchids are, for a lack of a better term, currently busting out of their pots. My judge calls my office "the spa" because the plants have taken over. And, they keep growing.

Ok. You are my hero. I am hyperventilating. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's exactly what I have been looking for---and they customize color. :grinning evily: I can't wait.
