1st attempt at s/h Male
Default 1st attempt at s/h

I had ordered the stuff from Ray to try s/h but didn't quite get around to it.

This Phrag Noirmont I have blasted the last two spikes. The first one, I bought it that way - then the second time, it happened in my home. So I thought it was time to try something new.

It was in a single 4.5" pot - when I pulled it , it fell (didn't break - did it on it's own) into two plants.

Soaked everything in KLN, followed Ray's instructions on his site, etc etc and have a heat mat arriving tomorrow.

So here we are. I will update this sometime down the road!

I would too!!!! I saw someone else's plant in bloom and loved the flower - thought I was going to get one of my own this year, but it didn't seem to work out. Excited about the possibilities here, all the way around.

I got these particular ones from Ray. Sort of a starter kit, I guess you could say! If I decide to put a lot of additional plants in this way, I will probably get more supplies locally. We have a lot of... hydroponic... stores here in San Francisco / Northern California. ;-)

Wish I could find a seller around here. Shipping costs are starting to kill me.

Yes, I look forward to being creative with my own here sometime soon. I'm going to let these establish first though, before I go off the deep end!

Learning to love s/h. So far I have a Phrag. pearcei, Paph. urbanianum, African Violet, and a Dtps. I-Hsin Purple Jewel all in S/H.

There probably is a seller near you. What area of Texas are you in? Even in Nebraska there's a few sellers!
