SOme of the issue might be the timing of repotting. As the existing roots are expected to fail once they are moved into the new environment, it is best to move a plant into S/H culture right when it is just beginning to grow brand new roots (not new growth on existing ones),

I picked up a couple of NoID guinea-chids, a mini-phal and a miltassidium (who knows) last week. Neither are in active growth now so I'll have to wait. The onc should be transferred when a new pbulb starts?

Update in a few weeks/months.
