What will you do with it now?

I placed it in a teracota small orchid pot with coco chips (I read somewhere they rot slower than bark).
Problem is now I cannot see what's going on with the roots.

That is why I got into the basket pots. I was using clay and it drove me nuts that I had no idea what was happening. The plastic didn't work well with many of my orchids that need to dry out fast.
If leonis proves difficult, get an angraecum magdalenae. It is the easiest one to grow.
