I have a both of my surviving ones in S/H. They were in a bad way in the spring with hardly any roots and almost lost all their leaves over the winter (these shouldn't be deciduous). I put then in S/H as they needed to grow new roots anyway so why not into the S/H lecca. They have grown new growths and new roots and seem happy, still not massively healthy plants but they seem to like it more than the bark they used to be in and the new parts are looking good.
