Hydroton on clearance at OSH in northern calif.

My wife works for osh [orchard supply hardware]in Napa, Ca. Her store stocked 10 liter bags of hydroton this spring which didn't sell. They are now on clearance for $5.99. If you are interested in experimenting with this media you won't find it any cheaper. As of this writing there are two bags left.

The fairfield store has 4 bags. I've checked stores in Pinole and Vacaville and haven't found them in either one. I hope someone out there can use this information...you're welcome.

San Lorenzo has three bags @ $10 each. The clearance sign you posted shows an end date of 9/3.

I was in Fairfield today and checked the store again. The same four bags are still there. The clearance sign has been updated, 9/4 to 10/8. They will probably keep doing this until they are sold. Knowing how osh works if they don't sell they will eventually end up in the trash compactor. It's too bad this isn't an item that can be ea$ily shipped.

I just realized in looking at my own photo that the sign must have been printed wrong the first time. It's now $10 not $5.99. My apologies if I wasted anyone's time.
