I am also sold on the product. I began applying it about 6-7 weeks ago on an every other day basis at the rate of 2 tsp per gal of RO. The first plant I saw results with is Jumellea comorensis. New roots tips sprouted sporadically all along the existing roots, old and new within the first week. As they developed I noticed an explosion of spikes and now almost 2 months later the plant practically doubled in length. All my plants are responding very well to the product. The Angraecoids and cattleya's were the first to respond and now I'm noticing a huge increase in the root production of my Bulbo's.

Interesting. You can see the effects in 6-7 weeks? I'm also using it for 2 months or so, but I can't comfortably say that there is an effect yet (beyond the placebo effect and seasonal patterns in the growth). Could it be because you are dosing at a much higher frequency than Ray's and Manufacturer's recommendation (2tsp/gal, every two weeks)? Or it could be I have been using K-L-N regularly before switching to KelpMax.

If you've been using another rooting hormone you probably won't see a dramatic difference. I find that if I stop using it for a month or two and then start again, I'll see more results. I wouldn't use it at concentrations that are higher than recommended. Personally, I don't use it through the winter either. My feeling is that I don't want to stimulate growth during the time of the year when orchids don't normally grow much.

That's an interesting fact and it makes sense. Thanks for sharing it.
