Default Miltoniopsis NoId in S/H

I've never been successfull with Miltoniopsis. The first one I had died (or should I say I killed her) allmost inmediately. This one, the second I buy, went in the same direction. I had allways been wanting to try S/H since I read about it in this forum, so I finaly decided the time had come to give it a try. I chose the plant that was "nearest to death" just in case. It happened to be this miltoniopsis. Look what I discovered a few days ago (tomorrow it will be two weeks since I put her into S/H).

Today I was refilling the reservoir and I saw she's also growing a new bulb.
I'll keep you posted.

Looking good. I think Camille said she grows these in S/H as well. The new growth is good as often with this type the roots will die off when first moving to S/H and you need new roots coming on to replace then. A new growth will have new roots

Congrats! If that is the plant nearest to death in your collection, I am envious I see you have a little bloom spike! Can't wait to see the blooms.

As every Saturday I was watering my plants again and... Surprise! There's another new growth peeping out between the outer leafs of the old bulb.
