It should do fine in S/H as long as you repot when new roots are starting. All my catts are in S/H.

Catts do well in S/H. I found mine are doing better due to a warmer environment also.

Shawna, is it possible your plant's name is actually Lctna. Renate 'S & W' HCC/AOS. Looks to be the closest name in OrchidWiz.

I believe you are correct on the name you found. I just got this plant and the tag just said Lc. Renate Sw. It has a new growth about 1 inch tall and new roots on it. I will try it in Hydroton which is what I have and hope it takes off. I have a plant stand with mounted lights inside the top of it in front of a west window. The heat from the lights gives heat on the top of the stand. Think I will set it there for now as the heat should help it it sounds like
