update -- all the mini catts are growing well. lots of new growths and roots. I changed the pots from the deli containers, to "Ball Freezer Jars", purchased at WalMart (they come in several sizes and are sold 4 or 5 to a pack) I changed then because the deli containers were too flexible. These Ball Freezer Jars are much sturdier. The Onc hyrbrid TOOK COMPLETE CONTROL of the hydroton, and the roots filled the pot within 3 months. And it's got a big spike
