I think you're fine to repot. Just trim off the rotted roots with a sterile blade of some sort first. The new roots should take to the new media like ducks to water. Remember to soak the LECA in a KLN solution and then use that solution for the first watering. It should help promote more root growth. I don't think it will bother the Keikis much.
