So I figured I would show pics of my 2 walkeriana's that are pretty darn happy in s/h. The first one is from H&R that I got some years ago and was mounted. I couldn't ship the log it was attached to from Hawaii to Texas, so I had pull it off and lost a lot of roots in the process. The plant had one new growth at the time and quickly threw 2 more growths once the first root went down into the media. Now there are lots of very fat, white roots from the 3 growths.
The second plant is one I got a few weeks ago from a member (OrchidFlowerChild) here on the OB. The roots are just starting to head down into the media and look great. I water it everyday and I spray the roots several times per day to encourage the roots going down into the media.
FYI- The focus of most of the pics are the roots, not so much the other stuff. Enjoy!
