Question on fertilizers and rooting hormone in S/H
Hello everyone, iīd like some help with a doubt thatīs been gnawing at me for some days
I started to use S/H for my plants, mainly due to the extremely dry weather i have so watering is less of a need, so far, growing in S/H are laelias, cattelyas, LCīs, Zygos, Cycnoches, Paphios, Phals, Coelogyne, Dens, and other ones i cant recall right now, and they all seem to be in good shape, save the coelogyne that hasn't grow any new roots but 2 new Pbīs.
Anyway, since here is fairly difficult to obtain PA and K-L-N, I use Hydrotron, and recently acquired some rooting liquid, composition as follows
250 ml total
N-P-K......................... 20%
Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Ca, S.... 3.50%
B1, B5, Niacin............... 3.50%
citocinins, giberelins, auxins .. 2430 ppm
Thing is, i wanna use it to water some of the īchids, but according to Rayīs website calculator, taking in account the N-P-K thingie i should use aprox 1/2 tsp / gallon, but iīd like your opinion on this.
Besides, i acquired something called Bio-micron, which claims to be a liquid vegetal stimulant, seemed a good thing so iīd like to give it a try, itīs composition as follows
250ml total
Mn... 0.57%
B.... 0.192
Ca... 0.19
Mb ...0.007
Fe...0.71
Zn...0.25
Cu... 0.19
Mg...0.067
Giberelic acid .. 0.1
Indolbutiric acid .. 0.001
S.... 2.00
Aminoacids.. undetermined
the problem is that i donīt know what quantity to use on a gallon, and the guy at the store wasnīt of big help, so iīd really thank any light you could give on this!
Later iīll post some pics of my plants, not all of them on S/H but pretty nevertheless.
Respect
