One question...
this just popped in to my head, I'm in the middle of watering or I'd do the research right now but...
will Paphs do well in S/H and in a 50 gallon tank with lights and fans?

Definitely yes to the tank. Probably yes to s/h, I'll let someone with more s/h experience speak to that (but I'd bet the consensus is yes).

Definately "Yes" to the s/h. I move mine as soon as I get them home regardless of the time of year or root development and they never skip a beat.

I took all the chids out of the tank, they weren't really flourishing. I'm thinking of using it for Paphs only and I'll set that up when the (slightly) cool weather comes in
