Pots with algae
I posted this before but never received and answer.
Should I just ignore the large amount of algae that is growing in their pots (clear plastic with prime-agra)
or does anyone out there ave a solution?
Presently they are oudoors under shade cloth.
Thank you
Donald

I also use clear plastic with LECA. I've had algae in them for a couple of years. It doesn't seem to affect the plants.
If you don't like the look of it you can use a non transparent outer pot to block the light.

Also to help keep it down you can apply a little Physan 20 every now and then which will kill it.

I don't have any experience with s/h but I use Physan 20 once a month during the summer. It kills algea, fungus and bacteria.
