Default Curious about Beallara in S/H

I picked up a Bllra. Big Shot "Hilo Sparkle" and was curious about how it might do in a S/H setup. I read that they like to dry out a bit between waterings, would this be a problem? As soon as i find my camera, i will post a pic. Plant is in bloom, and is gorgeous!!!

I have a large Beallara Tahoma Glacier in S/H. It loves it. Put on 3 psuedobulbs last year and bloomed all summer.

For many plants, the "prefer to dry out" recommendation is more applicable to the care given by the owner (and the medium used) than to the plant itself.

I have to agree with Ray. I have a beallara marfitch that goes crazy in semi hydro. I also have dendrobiums, cymbidiums, oncidiums, phals, and more in semi hydro. I have yet to find an orchid that doesn't take to it.
