I have an Onc. Twinkle that I have been thinking of converting to s/h. I was planning to wait until it completed its bloom cycle (which it has) and I noticed this weekend that it is putting out two new pbulbs. Is now the best time to convert it to s/h?
I love this little plant and am nervous about the conversion. Just want to make sure the timing is right.
Is there a new root "count" to go by? 1 new root and convert? Or is it best to wait for a few new roots?
I've got limited experience with conversion to s/h...mostly phals that were potted in sphag moss, so conversion to s/h was a breeze. Some I waited for new roots, some I didn't and all have taken off. I know I can't use this philosophy with the Twinkle, which is why I'm seeking all the advice I can get.
