Did you experiance any root loss after its dry winter rest? Did you water it at all between Nov to Feb?

No root loss visible and no water at all (but I made sure to flush several times with pure water in the weeks preceding november).
Same thing for this winter, only one root tip has turned black, but all the other ones are bright green, and starting to grow again now
