locating kln problem
Hi,
I need to place an order at First Rays for some things I'm low on, and one of them is kln. I can't find it on the site, though. Does someone know where Ray is hiding it? Seriously, the problem is most likely me overlooking it, so will someone please help me "put my finger on it"?
Vicki

I checked Ray's site and do not see it, it's usually listed under "Chemicals" (I think) but it's not there. He may be out of stock on it...you can send him an email to ask if he has any

my order to First Rays
Hi Susanne,
I hope the weather is nice down your way. We have some friends coming down to Daytona and some on vacation to PC, and they said they were gonna keep their fingers crossed that you have pretty weather down Florida way. (Most of the ones going to Daytona are on Harleys, so they say they don't wanna get rained on. lol)
Anyway, after I read your reply, I sent an e-mail to First Rays. Sometimes I wonder about myself.....it's kinda scary, actually (lol). I knew to contact them directly, rather than on OB, but (as usual) my mind wasn't working as it should and e-mailing them didn't cross my mind. duh1 Ray has asked me before why I didn't. This is the 2nd time contactin them has slipped my mind. duh2! lol
Thanks for your reply!
Vicki

K-L-N has a finite shelf life, so in order to make sure it's fresh, I only acquire and repackage is in small lots, and there is a script that removes it from being visible when I run out.
I restocked, but forgot to reset the quantity. It's back now.
Sorry.

Oh wow, Ray, I didn't know that there's a date on it. How long does it last? I bought some from you quite a while back and don't use a lot of it, just some when repotting. I'm wondering if I should reorder too.

Thanks for your reply, Susanne!
I see that Ray has replied, as well...and I rec'd a business reply from him, also. I'll be placing my order to First Rays in a few minutes (I'm sure you are glad to hear that lol)
Take care,
Vicki

Kiki - the shelf life is determined by the temperature and exposure to light. In a refrigerator between uses, maybe a year. Left in a warm greenhouse, more like a month.

Thanks Kiki for asking that question and thanks Ray for answering it. How long can you keep some of it mixed? A day or two?
Joann
