I am expecting a couple of small plants in the next couple of days, I could pot them up in s/h and take pictures if it would help.

OK, so now I'm the one who's confused... Are we chatting Sat. evening or are we doing something different?

Al, what the nice member told you is very true. Ray is very fond of smacking us upside the head and telling us that S/H will not cure bad culture. Becca and I probably have to water more often than those living in a more humid climate even if there is water left in the reservoir. You have to adjust what you do to fit your conditions just like any other medium.

I thought we are chatting for those who have questions tomorrow evening.

Edit: Ooops...I meant for Saturday evening!

Joann, if you want to take on the job of creating a web page with me, let's do it!
The old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words is very true so we need lots of them. Even the smallest detail that, to you, isn't important is.
I'll PM you with e-mail address and we can talk more.
Thanks,
Al
Oh, and if you have second thoughts and don't want to get involved, that's o.k. too.

Al

I plan to tune in on Saturday at 11:00 pm. That should be 8:00 pm pacific time. I'm not great about staying up late most nights, but seeing it's Saturday, I will make the effort. I really don't have questions, but I would just like to be a part of this as I am seriously thinking of doing something instead of constantly watering at the sink. That is becoming a problem for me. I don't have a clue about the methods you are all talking about...not even sure what I would ask for questions. I think this is all about varying methods of doing the s/h and why one might work better over the other? See, I may not even be right about that. So I'm an observer here, but will be here. I also think the picture method would benefit so many people (especially me) besides the ability to ask questions in a chat.
I thank you in advance for all your help, everyone.

Hey Al, I've go a "con" for you.... all those little red clay colored marbles rolling around on the floor of your new addition and you'll be the one on your back unable to get up... talk about picking up the pieces...

Yes, 7PM my time, 10PM your time Kiki. I'll be there. Al, I hope you can make it too. If you have questions that don't get asked, then they'll remain unanswered. Not saying we'll even know the answer but we'll give it a whirl.

Next week, Joann (Zoi2) and I will be working on a web page, hopefully to help with the S/H method(s).
I'll post the URL when we are ready. It will/does take some time so please be patient.
