Evenings on Saturday should be okay. I am heading to the coast one day this weekend (we expect lots of sun and temps to be in the 70's plus), so mornings might not work for me.
By the way, I really really appreciate all your efforts to try and get this together. I totally understand the needs to get outside on nice days. After a winter like we've had, I don't blame anyone for wanting to be outdoors whenever possible!

Please don't plan the chat around me. I'm sure someone can save it, if not I'll pick someone's brain. I'm beginning to understand the process.

Here is another thought to throw into the soup.
If someone wants to pot up a plant from the very beggining to end, taking LOTS of pictures along the way, I'll work with them and build a web page for us.
It will involve a lot of work on both our parts so be prepared for lots of e-mail back and forth.

If we chat this weekend it would have to be at on Saturday around 7PM PDT. I'm at the show until 5PM when it closes, and I'm sure I won't get out of there exactly at 5. Sunday I have to help take down the show so who knows when the heck I'll be home.

Al, that is a great idea. But I don't have any 'chids to pot up into s/h culture. It still sounds like it would be fun, but I am surprised that Ray doesn't have anything like that on his website already?
Terri, 7PM PDT on Saturday would work for me, I think that would be 8PM my time. Will that work for everyone else?

Ray does have a lot of information on his site but with a number of different ways to pot this way it wouldn't hurt to show some other ways.
A nice member has written me with some words of wisdom for all of us.
..........there are as many ways to use S/H as there are ways to use bark/moss/perlite........etc. Everyone has to find the way that works for them.....

Vicki, you would be in CST which stands for Central Standard Time (actually considered CDT during daylight savings) and you would be an hour a head of me (Mountain Standard Time), 2 hours ahead of PDT if I am correct.
