Wow, that is perfect! Very detailed and easy to figure out. I'm very impressed. Thanks so much for all the time and effort you obviously put into this project!!!

The site is great! Easy to read and in layman's terms.

My only criticism is the background color of the home page. It is too neon. I suggest you use the yellow color that is bordering your homepage star photo. That would tie it all together.

Great job!

Great job guys! It looks fantastic. The only thing I would add is that you say it is a completely stress free transition. Having the entire root mass rot away is not really stress free. You might want to change the wording to "Most plants make the transition to S/H easily."

Terri, thanks for pointing that out...I meant it for the salt build up and repotting in clean leca that wouldn't disrupt the roots. I do need to mention about the root transition in the potting section.

Greetings Al and Joann

Many thanks for your persistence in creating a thoughtful and professional looking website. Your instructions accompanied by photos makes the whole process seem like a real consideration for most of us who are always looking for better ways to grow orchids in our varied and less than perfect conditions.

If and when you have time, could you explain how the chatroom works for those of us who are not experienced enough with this tool?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. It was a fun project!

The chat room uses JAVA so your system must be JAVA enabled. All you have to do is type in a user name and then Enter. After that it's very basic.
Of course, you never know who or when someone is there unless you make an appointment here on the OB or through a PM.

the colors on web sites are always a problem as everyone has a different monitor and it's settings are different. Even an older monitor can drastically change the color. I will take your suggestion under consideration tho....anyone else having trouble with it?

I forgot to say thanks to both Al and Joanne.
One of the mods ought to make this a sticky.
