After reading all the good thing's about sh, I have to try it myself.
Just placed my first order with Ray.
First experiment will be a milt. that always has accordian leaves and a couple of den keikis.
Lets see how this works.
Now I cant wait for my order. Patience?????????
I have heard that Miltonias/Miltoniopsis (Pansy Orchids) don't do well in S/H with hydrotons. I have never tried it myself though, prehaps others can chime in with their experience?
I think Miltonia. Label reads Milt Hawaiian Waters "Light Speed" X Black Storm "Okika".
It's been so long since it's bloomed, I forget what it looks like. I'm not getting good root growth. I read that they like to be kept moist, so I added a layer of sphag on top but still get accordian leaves. I was hoping that the primagra woud help keep moisture constant.
jkhom Hello, I have 4 and they are all in s/h. when they were in bark I had the same problem with the pleeted leaves not enough water to much water who knows. I finally decieded to put them in s/h and they are growing like crazy roots that is. Do these like to be root bound? Lots of new roots and growth so we will see.
