Pleurothallids in S/H

Is anyone growing any of the Pleurothallids in S/H? If so, did you take the plant out of sphagnum moss? I am kind of a klutz and when repotting the Pleuros, I always seem to tear the heck out of the root system in attempting to remove old decaying moss. Maybe someone would give me some guidance in removing the old moss and still save some of the roots. Thanks.

I have grown pleurothallids in s/h, but they're not real high on my list, so have gotten rid of them.

To remove the moss, make sure it's saturated, then very carefully pluck it out, strand-by-strand.

Thanks for the information Ray. I will just have to keep at it I guess. Maybe I didn't soak them enough. I was using tweezers and trying to get one strand of moss at a time but being somewhat incoordinated it seemed that I grabbed roots as well. Lots of new growth coming on them now so maybe new root formation will save me.
