Met up with an old orchid friend I hadn't seen in five years at our local garden show. I saw a plant and thought at first it was a Psychopsis. Got me all excited.
It isn't. So he gave me one to play with. I know nothing about it, but that's never stopped me before... Trt. Ollie Palmer.
I looked up the blooms, which aren't really to my style, but the foliage sure is. I'm going to presume it wants to be rescued from the bark mix it's in (other plants are probably whispering to it about my distinct issues with bark mixes). Looks to me like it's reaching out for transfer to semi-hydro...sure hope it likes the changeover.
