Fertilize weakly
My S/H phals have started to open their blooms. Should I water with a weak amount of k-lite all year at each watering or should I be using just water at this part of the growing cycle?

In my experience, phals in semi-hydro culture do quite well flushed and fed with 25 ppm N K-Lite at every watering.
I honestly don't know where the "don't feed a blooming orchid" stuff came from, but it's absurd.

Thanks! That is all I needed to know. They are doing great and the S/H makes them easy to take care of.
