Cold damage is most likely. Can't reverse that. Clip off damaged part, keep warmer, and wait. If it makes you feel better, put a bit of cinnamon on the cut.

I would have tipped cold damage as the likely culprit but if it happened before the cold actually hit then it could be a wrong ph.
I see you are growing in lecca which is one of my preferred methods but it cannot buffer like bark can. Ie feeding and watering has be be rigorously precise like in a hydroponic setup. Any mistakes in watering will show far more readily in a hydroponic substrate - you can achieve better results but if you are not that experienced with lecca it can cause the problems you are seeing - mainly if the ph is wrong.
Generally rain water is soft water (opposed to hard water)and has the right ph.
Tap water on the other hand is hard and generally has the wrong ph. So for bark you can get away using tap water but with lecca it can cause problems.
The difference betweeen hard water and soft water is that hard water needs to be adjusted more. So if you have 1 liter of hard water and 1 liter of soft water with the same ph and you want to raise the ph of both you will need to use a far larger quantity of ph adjuster on the hard water than the soft water.
This is fairly important because it is not only the ph of the water that is important but how much adjusting is needed to get it into the correct level. As such soft water with a wrong ph is far better than hard water with the wrong ph. Plants can alter the ph slightly to help them absorb nutrients but not if the water is too hard and the ph is off too much.
So if it isn't the cold, then it is most likely your water.
In lecca I don't think it matters but I've gotten used to people picking and choosing the advice that suits them.
If my car breaks down I would also like to think it was due to the weight of some bird poop on the roof and washing it off would solve the problem so if that's what you want to hear, go for it.
