LECA to Jakarta Indonesia

Hello all, i am a newbie in this orchid things, in my environment, every media seems deteriorate very fast, which s sooo troublesome. I read about Leca, and i wanna try it, but those things doesnt available anywhere here, while ordering online cost me a tons. Could anybody told me where to find it in area close to jakarta indonesia ????

(i have askd hydroton vendor, they said they have a singaporean outlet, but when i mailed them, got no response this far)

Check with a manufacturer of concrete blocks or cement supplier. Much LECA is used in light weight cement products. In Italy I saw it being used as mulch around plants and as fill in planters (try landscapers etc). I would wash and soak LECA from these sources through several changes of fresh water to remove any dust and salts.These sources will probably not have the Hydroton, what they have is more uneven in shape and size.
